Refund & Return Policy

1. General policy


We only accept returns or refunds for defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped items.
Returns for items that are in perfect condition, or claims made without proof of defect/damage, will not be accepted.


2. Reporting a defect or wrong item


You must contact us within 7 days of delivery if your order is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Please include:

- Your order number

- A description of the problem

- Clear photos and/or videos showing the defect/damage

Returns must be approved by us before sending any items back. Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.


3. Shipping responsibility & lost/stolen packages


Once your order is handed over to the shipping carrier, we are not responsible for delays, loss, or theft during transit.
If the tracking shows "Delivered" or if the carrier provides a Proof of Delivery (including signatures, delivery scans, or notes such as "Left at gate/door"), the order is considered successfully delivered and no refund will be issued.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure a safe and secure delivery address.

If your package is lost or stolen after delivery confirmation, you must contact the shipping carrier directly to open a claim.


4. Return address


Approved returns must be sent to:

5. Non-returnable items


- We do not accept returns for:

- Items without defects or damage

- Sale items or gift cards


6. Exchanges


If your item is defective or incorrect and approved for return, we will replace it with the same product (or a similar one if unavailable).


7. Refunds


Refunds are issued only after the returned item has been received and inspected.
If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Processing times by your bank or credit card provider may vary.
If more than 15 business days have passed since refund approval, please contact us at business@yumeinihon.com.


8. EU customers – 14-day right of withdrawal


If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receipt.
However, this does not apply to:

- Opened/used items

- Custom or personalized products

- Perishable goods

- Items without defects
